What is Heeij?
An app that gets young people off the screen and out to real meetups in real life. You suggest an activity, others say yes, and you meet face to face.
When do you open?
We're working towards launch. Sign up on the home page and be among the first to hear.
How does it work?
Post an activity (what, when, where and your criteria). Others nearby who fit ask to join. You approve the ones you want along — and only then are the details shared and a group chat opens.
Does it cost anything?
No. Heeij is free to use at launch. There are no paid features in the first version.
How do you keep it safe?
Safety is the core, not an afterthought: verified profiles, host approval before details are shared, meetups in public places, and the ability to report and hide. A real person is on moderation from day one.
What data do you store about me?
Right now, only your email if you sign up for the waitlist. It's described in our privacy policy. We don't collect more than necessary.
Can I join no matter where I live?
You can always sign up. We roll out area by area, so there's always someone nearby — and we grow from there.
How do I unsubscribe from the waitlist?
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails you receive from us — we'll delete your email from the list.
