Heeij is an app that gets young people off the screen and out to real meetups in real life.
The problem
1 in 6 young people are severely lonely — three times more than ten years ago. At the same time, most apps are built to keep us: endless feeds, likes and notifications that take our time instead of giving us real experiences.
Our approach
Heeij flips that around. The app has one purpose: to help you meet others in real life — and then be put down again.
- Suggest an activity, others say yes, and you meet face to face.
- No likes, followers or endless scroll — just a plan and some people.
- Safety is the core, not an afterthought: verified profiles, host approval before details are shared, and the ability to report and hide.
Where we start
We start small, so there's always someone nearby who's up for it. And we grow from there.
